Registration Cancellation insurance is designed to provide coverage for unforeseeable circumstances. The Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, became a known event in January 2020, and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. Registration Cancellation policies specifically exclude losses caused by an Epidemic or Pandemic and as such, do not provide coverage for losses due to or as a result of COVID-19, including Coronavirus related losses for sickness, quarantine, governmental prohibition or regulation, fear of travel, medical advice to avoid travel due to possible Coronavirus exposure, or event cancellation.
